Lulie the Iceberg is the epic story of a young iceberg which breaks free of the Greenland Icecap to embark on a courageous ocean journey. Along the way Lulie (from Iluliaq, a Greenlandic word meaning the soul of ice) has many new, wonderful, dangerous and exciting adventures. Helped by the winds, the currents and a wealth of extraordinary sea creatures and birds, he learns lessons in life and the environment to eventually become one of the Wise Elders of Antarctica.

Iconic New York composer Morton Feldman is renowned for his delicate colours and a spacious sense of time. In Crippled Symmetry, Feldman explores patterns influenced by ancient middle-eastern rugs, repetitious but disproportionate and symmetrically staggered. Also featuring The King of Denmark, Feldman’s famous percussion solo.

The Edwardes/ Morris duo is an exciting collaboration by two of this country’s leading interpreters of contemporary music exploring a shared belief in diversity of programming and innovation and energy in performance style. For their premiere Sydney show, Edwardes and Morris will perform unique works by an impressive line up of Australian and international composers delving into the miniature and the extravagant.  George Crumb’s Mundis Canis, a charming musical homage to his dogs Fritzi, Heidel, Emma-Jean and Yoda is pitted against the iconic Keith Humble’s classic, Arcade IV. Other featured composers include Mary Finsterer, Peter Sculthorpe, Mark Pollard, Maurizio Pisati, Urus Rojko and Lou Harrison.
