Hatched Composers Summer School - EO

APPLICATIONS FOR OUR HATCHED COMPOSER SUMMER SCHOOL WILL OPEN IN MARCH 2018 SO STAY TUNED. 

Held in Sydney from 10-14 December 2018, this will be a five-day intensive program of:

  • instrumental workshops,
  • one-on-one mentoring sessions,
  • round table discussions and
  • professionally documented informal concerts.

The Summer School will be open to six successful compositional applicants, and be led by guest mentor, Matthew Shlomowitz, a London-based, internationally acclaimed composer and Ensemble Offspring co-founder. Also on faculty will be several high-profile Australian composers, as well as the core members of Ensemble Offspring, who will be in residence at this week-long intensive event.

Emerging composers from around Australia are encouraged to apply. There is no age limit however composers should be within 8 years of graduating from a music degree at a tertiary institution.

We'll be finishing the program with a concert at Glebe Town Hall. More details to come soon.
